All 2009 Exhibitors.
DINNER - This year the dinner will be held at Old Parliament House. Please note there is now a free shuttle bus back to major hotels along Northbourne Avenue as well as Manaka after the Dinner. Cost is $44 a ticket inclusive of gst.
FREIGHT - Please note. ALL exhibitors forwarding freight to arrive on the Friday MUST have their cartons shrink wrapped and when there are more than 6 cartons these must also be on a pallet. If this does not occur the freight will be returned to the depot.
PACKING UP - note the new conditions this year for which you have signed and we have advised the buyers: ALL exhibitors both outside and inside will have a 2pm pack up time. All security guards as well as committee members will note the names of anyone who packs up earlier and absolutely no correspondence will be entered into apart from you losing your priority booking for 2010. Please make sure your staff understand this.
ACCESS - Please note: On SHOW DAYS ONLY, Exhibitors in the Snowy River, Quokka and Terrace use the car park behind the grandstand via Gate 1 off Flemington Road and entry will be via the Snowy River Room.
Exhibitors in all other halls should continue along Federal Highway (Northbourne Av.) and enter via gate 4 which is at the Shell Service Station on your left. Follow this road round to the left and park as follows: Fitzroy exhibs. behind the Fitzroy building; all others behind or in front of the Budawang. There is no parking anywhere else in the grounds of EPIC apart from EPIC staff. This gives a greater visibility to all those exhibitors with outside displays.
TRACKERS from Info Salons. These are tremendously helpful machines which you can hire from Infosalons for the duration of the show. They record any information you want - within reason - and when you are flat out on your stand it saves writing and stores much more than you could put down whilst still holding the attention of your customer. They are not cheap but they repay themselves over and over as you have all this follow up information printed out to use as you wish. Set up day for outside tent/canoe people is Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd for all other exhibitors from 8am to 8pm.
Please remember to ensure your freight is delivered only on Friday 1st and we will endeavour to get it on to your stand or as near as possible.
Trucks and vans etc. can be parked for the duration of the show behind the Budawang building and during the show cars will be parked there as well. There will be an entrance at the back of the Budawang for easier access on show days but this will be closed from 9am.
PHOTOGRAPHY - SOTA 2009
Seventy Eight Commercial Photography will once again be photographing this years event for SOTA at EPIC in Canberra. For this years event we would like to offer your company the opportunity to have your stand professionally photographed by Cameron while he is covering the event. photography cost : $66.00 with a $26.00 deposit required before photography commences price includes gst; a tax invoice will be provided. This price includes the photography, images on a cd, as well as postage and handling.
Please contact the SOTA Office for more information. We can highly recommend the photography and all images will be sent to you for your constant use.
SOTA has negotiated a deal with ISPO to give our members access to the ISPO Card and free access to the ISPO shows. This form must be downloaded and printed and sent into Ann at the office and she will forward these on and return your card to you in due course.
